Critical view of safety in laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy): Because gallstones typically reoccur, surgery to remove the gallbladder may be recommended. Bile flows directly from your liver to your small intestine after your gallbladder is removed, rather than being held in your gallbladder. You don’t need your gallbladder to live, and removing it has no effect on your capacity to digest food. However, gallbladder removal can induce diarrhoea, which is generally only temporary.
